Email was not delivered - due to the size limit

Email not delivered3

What does this mean?

Your email exceeds the 25MB size limit and cannot be sent. When sending emails through Properstar, there's a maximum size limit of 25MB for each email (including attachments). This is an industry standard limit that helps ensure reliable email delivery and prevents server overload.

Your email couldn't be sent because the total size is over 25MB. This total includes:

  • The message text itself

  • All attached files

  • Images in the email

  • Any formatted content (like signatures)

For example: If you're trying to send 5 property photos (5MB each) and a PDF document (7MB), the total would be 32MB, which exceeds our 25MB limit.

How to fix it?

  1. Check your attachment sizes:

    • Right-click each file to check its size

    • Add up all file sizes to see the total

    • Remember to include embedded images

  2. Reduce file sizes:

    • Compress images before attaching

    • Convert documents to PDF format

    • Use lower resolution photos if appropriate

  3. Alternative solutions:

    • Split your attachments across multiple emails

    • Use file sharing services (like Dropbox or Google Drive) and share the link

    • Share files through the Properstar Message App, which handles larger files

    • Compress multiple files into a ZIP folder
