How Properstar protects you from bad actors

We take active, layered measures to block non-genuine inquiries, so you can focus on the consumers who matter.

  • AI monitoring across the network. Every lead generated by Properstar and our partner portals is scanned by AI services that are trained to identify bad-actor behavior and distinguish it from genuine consumer activity.
  • Protected, monitored communication. Initial contact runs through a proxy email address that shields personal details on both sides. That same address powers Properstar Messages, our in-platform communication log, so every exchange is recorded and continues to be monitored. If communications continue to be sent via the proxy email address, our systems will automatically flag suspicious messages, phishing links, and scams before they reach you.
  • Continuously improving defenses. We use a range of reputable third-party anti-spam detection tools. On top of that, our team regularly reviews and updates our custom-built behavioral rules and refines the AI detection rules to maintain their accuracy.
