# Quick guide to responding to Chinese leads

## How to contact Chinese buyers easily

**Emails vs WeChat **

Email is not so commonly used in China, some people don't even have an email account. WeChat is the most common way to communicate with a buyer.

**How to use WeChat **

Download the WeChat app to your mobile. Add the buyer’s phone number to your contact list. The buyer's WeChat account will appear on your phone list and you'll be able to contact them.

**Communicating with WeChat **

You can send a text message, leave a voice message, send photos, floor plans - everything can be done in WeChat. WeChat is able to translate a message, you just need to tap on the received message from the buyer and you will see the **Translate** button.
