# How do I change my password?

## Keep your account safe at all times

1\. Log in to your profile on Properstar

Go to [dashboard.properstar.com](https://dashboard.properstar.com/home) and click the **Login** button on the top right.

Enter your email.

From here, there are two possible login options:

**Option 1 – Login with a password**

- If you remember your password, simply enter it to log in
- If you don’t remember your password, click **"Forgot your password"**
- You will receive an email with a link to reset your password

**Option 2 – Login with a verification code**

- You will receive a **4-digit code** via email
- Enter the code on the website to verify your login and access your account

2\. Click on your avatar in the top right corner to open the drop-down menu, then select **Security**.

3\. Update and confirm your password, then click **Save password**.

4\. All done!
